In previous entries, we discussed the research we conduct to ensure the quality and safety of our drugs and dietary supplements. However, our activities in this area do not end there. Because in addition to ongoing analyzes of starting materials, packaging and end products, pharmaceutical companies also carry out the so-called stability studies. What are they and what is their purpose?

Stability studies are analyzes performed at specified intervals after a given batch of the finished product is released into the market. They are used to verify its quality during the entire period of validity of this product, and even longer, which in turn allows to identify trends in terms of possible changes in the analyzed parameters. Samples of these products are stored in climatic chambers, that is special “cabinets”, which keep inside temperature and humidity within fixed, defined limits. Thanks to this, the risk of changes caused in the product by unstable or extreme storage conditions is eliminated, which changes are not, however, associated with the potentially poor initial quality of the product.
Therefore, these tests play an important role in ensuring the safety and proper quality of manufactured products. However, the storage of tests in climatic chambers may be important not only at the stage of checking the condition of products already on the market, but also during technological tests carried out during the development of new products. Thanks to them, we are able to analyze how a given product will behave in certain conditions and whether it will retain its stability in them.

If you would like to commission us to store your own samples in our climatic chambers and / or to perform analyzes as part of stability studies, please send an e-mail to the following address: laboratorium@labor.com.pl, b.wieclaw@labor.com.pl or r.kowalczyk@labor.com.pl to determine the details of the offer.

WE INVITE YOU TO COOPERATION!
